Our Patron Saint
“Pray for us, O holy patron, that our work may glorify God.”

St. Veronica
Feast Day: July 12th
Who is St. Veronica?
St. Veronica is remembered as the compassionate woman who stepped forward during Christ’s Passion to wipe His face with her veil. In return for this small act of mercy, the image of His Holy Face was miraculously imprinted on the cloth. Though little is recorded about her in Scripture, Christian tradition honors her as a woman of deep courage and love. She is the patron saint of photographers, as she was the first to capture the true image of Christ.
Why St. Veronica?
At Pious Pixels Photography, St. Veronica’s example inspires everything we do. Her boldness, her compassion, and her desire to serve Christ in the moment of His suffering reflect the heart of our mission: to see each person through the lens of God’s love.
Like Veronica, we strive to preserve sacred moments — not just with technical skill, but with prayerful intention. Through every photo, we hope to reflect the divine imprint that exists in every soul.
Prayer to St. Veronica:
St. Veronica, brave and compassionate, you reached out to Christ with your veil and were gifted with His Holy Face. May we, like you, respond to others with love, dignity, and courage. Pray for all photographers, that our work may reflect beauty, truth, and the light of Christ. Amen.
Sacred Reflections:
The story of St. Veronica reminds us that true images are more than what we see — they are encounters with grace. As photographers, we aim to capture not just what is visible, but what is sacred. This is the heart behind every session we offer.
“Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God.” – Matthew 5:8
